Arthroscopy
is rapidly gaining popularity for both diagnosis and surgery
in dogs with chronic lameness, joint pain, joint instability,
swelling, crepitus and abnormal radiographic findings, including
OCD, DJD and fragmented coronoids. A variety of telescopes
ranging from 1.9 mm to 2.7 mm in diameter is used. The most
popular telescope, due to its versatility, is the 2.7
mm Multi-Purpose Rigid™ Endoscope.
