All of the above fiberscopes are fully soakable and ETO gas sterilizable,
equipped with an accessory channel and deflectable tip.
The smaller diameter fiberscopes are used primarily
for endoscopy of airways and urinary tract. Smaller fiberscopes
have two-way deflection, and
accessory channels. The accessory channel is the section
of the endoscope through which ancillary instruments (such as biopsy
